Christopher Bowes was Zargothrax for the first 2 albums. Now Dark Emporer Of Dundee. He played Keyboards.
He has been replaced by another man for playing keyboards but writes the music still.
I think it may be Myk Barber. But not entirely sure on that. They're both awesome.
The amazing story! Not too many spoilers. The story is so huge and amazing you are always going to get surprises.
Tales Of The Kingdom Of Fife
In 992 the brave Crown Prince Angus McFife I, of The Kingdom of Fife, Ser Proletius, Ralathor The Hermit, and The Hootsman took on the Sorcoror Zargothrax.
He resorted to most horrific means to try to defeat our heroes and try take over Fife.
Including capturing Princess Iona McDougal. And besieging Dundee with a army of undead unicorns.
Prince Angus McFife I and his friends quested for the mighty Hammer Of Glory and Amulet Of Justice. And other things.
They got the Astral Hammer and the Amulet of Justice.
The princess was saved. And the unicorns freed. And Zargothrax sent into space.
Apocalypse 1992
1000 years later. In 1992.
Crown Prince Angus McFife XIII, Scion Of The Galactic Empire Of Dundee, Ralathor The Hermit, The Hootsman, and the ressurected via cybernetics and magic Ser Pilotius, must face Zargothrax once more.
A mind blowingly epic quest ensues.
The reverse of his anchestors adventures happens sometimes.
They defeat Zargothrax by a narrower margin than Prince Angus McFife I and his friends.
Tales From Beyond The Galactic Terrorvortex
Their new album. Not out yet but the list is known
So far it looks amazing!
There is a song called Legendery Enchanted Jetpack!
I love the first song. Gloryhammer.
After the terrifying events of Apocolypse 1992. Prince Angus McFife XIII finds himself in a alternate reality. With different versions of his friends.
Commander Ralathor. And the same or similar The Hootsman. Darker clothes.
Sadly, Ser Proletius is Deathnight Ser Proletius and on Zargothraxs side.
So far. Since only 2 videos are out. The Amazing, Gloryhammer. And the more animated rather than live In Hoots We Trust.
Zargothrax has a army. And Deathnight Ser Proletius plans to fire nuclear missiles at the rebels of The Kingdom Of Fife.
Gloryhammer
Prince Angus McFife XIII must fly into space to recharge the Hammer Of Glory. To stop the missiles.
The Seige of Dunkeld
In Hoots We Trust
The long, crazy, story of so far.
In a alternate reality with a Blazing Black Sun.
Zargothrax has conquered Fife. And Angus McFife XIII hammer has lost power.
Among the terrifying things happening. There are Terrifying Dark Robotic Astral Zombies. Eating The Peasants Who Live In Glasgow! That line is genius! It is the best.
I laughed a lot at this song.
I also has part of Sabatons amazing Night Witches in it.
................................................
They are Power Metal. Interdimensional Space Metal, in their own words.
Absolutely amazing and very very unique.
They cram more into one song than entire tv shows can get through in a series.
One song, Called Apocolypse 1992, is hilariously epic. It keeps adding more and more epic and crazy things till a planet is exploded. For a good reason. To stop Zargothrax destroying the universe.
They have a diferent look and style each album. But still the same were it matters. The first album is Dungeons And Dragons, fantasy. The second Warhammerlike. The third is like a lot of things. But it mostly reminds me of Drakengard 1 and 2 and NiER. Especially Drakengard 1. Especially with the nuclear missiles. There are magic nuclear bombs in Drakengard 1. It's dark magic science fiction fantasy. Maybe.
Crown Prince Angus McFife I looked like a heroic prince in TFTKOF. With Scale Armour.
Crown Prince Angus McFife XIII looked like CoolShades McAwesomeNameIronman in A1992. In modified Iron Lantern Power Armour and futuristic sunglass'.
Crown Prince Angus McFife XIII looks like a mix between Crown Prince Angus McFife I and his old look in TFTGT. Similer armour to his anchestor. He looks a bit like Thor from Thor Ragnarok.
Ralathor looked the same in the first 2 albums. A hooded Hermit look.
But since its a diferent person Commander Ralathor has a black and gold militery outift,
The Hootsman has similer outfits foe the first 2 albums. But has a black and red outfit for the 3rd. Diferent person.
Ser Proletius had very diferent looks on each album.
Zargothrax has spectacular robes. All diferent. And a mix of robes and armour in TFBTGT.
Their outfits are beautiful! So much work goes into them.
They are a beautiful band.
......................................................
They are going to do a world tour!
I wish I could see them. But they're coming too far away.
And much as I love them, I don't buy concert tickets.
But that's just me.
It means a lot that I'd think about going to see them, even in a vague sense. I love this band a lot.
They're that amazing.
If a band makes me want to see them live. You can bet they're amazing.
If you want to see Gloryhammer, and can afford it, I would say do it! If you can and want to.
They have a generous amount of tour dates in the UK.
Looks spread out quite well. Not ignoring us northerners.
